‘Real growth of India did not simply meant the growth and expansion of industrial urban centres but mainly the development of villages’ –Mahatma Gandhi

Introduction

Microeconomics is all about an individual’s behaviour and decision making to generate revenue. The predominant factors of microeconomics mostly occur in rural areas. Rural economy constitutes about 46 percent of income to our country. Agriculture, labour, and producing raw materials are the prime sectors of the rural economy and rural employment, which are the standing pillar for the growth of our nation. India is predominantly made up of rural areas with two third population and 70% workforce residing there. Rural region and especially village economy are the backbone of our nation.

The development of macro-economy which is concerned with large-scale productions like industries, multinational traders, and multinational corporations etc. directly or indirectly depends on the growth of microeconomic sources.

The basic supply needs for the large business and industry are largely dependent upon the rural productions. In this circumstance the growth of rural areas and the people plays the vital role in the progress and the profit of large scale sectors.

Development

Increasing the facilities like transportation, availability of material, implementation of government schemes, trading support are major key factors required for the development of rural areas.

Learning of required skills and technical knowledge are the foremost need for rural workers to enter manufacturing sector. Setting up of industries and improvement in infrastructure are necessary but it is not sufficient for the progress of work, effective requirement of human resources impart necessary skills and training to rural youth to match the job requirement in manufacturing sector. This parallelly lies on the improvement and need of education system, updated schooling knowledge and practical knowledge. Government schemes, scholarships, and easy availability of education system could give hand for the rural peoples to develop. Educating about decision making, economic growth, trading, business strategies, marketing, and analytical knowledge could help an individual to develop his revenue in his own firm.

Our Indian government developed required scheme for the development of rural areas. But the reachability of the information to the rural people is less. For this situation the government has given the accessibility of information through E-Government scheme in which development of digital India has been helping mode for the people to access the information. In this scenario the government, entrepreneurs and NGOs the government should facilitate the volunteers for the awareness of the people, then only we can ensure for the implementation of scheme. Workers moving out of agriculture and other small sectors, entering into rural labour-force are getting largely absorbed in other works like construction activity, hotels and other worker. The supply of employment growth in manufacturing and service sector in rural areas has decreased which result is the scarcity in the production of raw material. Rural manufacturing adopted more capital-intensive production as compared to the urban manufacturing and it failed to address the goal of employment generation for rural labour-force.

In accordance with this, the production of raw material, development of resource, manufacturing of product should be made in India with the Indian resources especially with rural workforce trade.

Digital India plays a vital role for the development of rural areas. Mobile Apps, digital technology will be the better service provider for the rural resource development and communication easy contact with the government service make the rural areas to develop their business. To develop completely, the rural areas should be a primary targets to the nation.

Conclusion

The people should realize the need and energy of the rural workforce for the development of nation in general and to the establishment of happiness in particular .In this scenario all the youth their contribution in the name of start-up, joining the rural employment and participate in the agriculture development then only we can develop our economy to the extended of the social development.
